I installed a factory Mopar unit just not too long ago in a 1500, Easiest thing I even installed. Worked like a charm. Every single wire was color coded the same as the wire you were taping into. Little soldering here and there. Mount the antenna and your gold. Took me about 1-1/2 hours. The Mopar unit is not recommended for manuals. However, none ever are. From a professional stand point being a shop owner I would never install one in a customers vehicle that was manual trans. Too much liability. If they were to leave it in gear and start it in a public place causing a death. It would be on my shop. Not worth it.

You can probably rig the auto remote starters to work with a manual. It would be very scary to have one in a manual though. There will be a time when you forget to put it in neutral when you park the truck...
it won't work, unless you install it yourself. a few cars have a neutral safety switch that lets you start the engine while the trans is in neutral. you can put it on those, but unfortunately our trucks don't have that. and you won't find a shop that will install one for you, all the ones I worked at were pretty strict about that for insurance and liability reasons.
alot of install shops will not install a starter system in a manual because the manual do not have a safty lock out ,,but you can make one from a pin switch better yet use a micro switch like on a nos system and use a negative input and you'll have to install a rely to bypass the switch on the clutch
There are models for manuals transmission. It is done by using the park brake wire and interior light switches at the doors. There is a series you have to do before you get out of the truck before you will be able to start it with remote. I know the ones I have done, When you park it for the night, WIth it still running, you have to put the truck in Neutral, then put on the park brake , Push the Start button on the remote, and NO it will not try to start again as the box sesnse a tach signal. Then you turn off the key and take it out, the truck will still be running. Then you get out , lock the doors , close the doors, and use the remote to shut the truck off. This way it for sure is in neutral. Then you can start it all you like, but even if you open the door, it senses it and it will not start till you go thru the whole series again. Just a safety feature incase someone open the door the put it in gear.. They are a lil more involved installing as you have to bypass the clutch but all in all, its fairly easy. No relay needed,, just find what side of the clutch wires go to the starter and use that wire. I have had ones with manual trans working great for 5 years now on friends trucks.
here just did a google serch and found this right off the bat. http://www.sjgreatdeals.com/scy2000rs2wm.html, it says its for a manual. google it there were more.
