Rear bumper?

What is the best source for a new rear bumper? Original or like original.
I messed up mine, feel like an idiot, hope it will pass...

I heard Dodge wants $500.00 for a new one! And that's w/o the hardwear or the the plastic/rubber top tread!
I would try a body shop... They can find anything!

I got tapped in the rear after I'd had my truck for about a month, and when I got around to replacing it I chucked the stock bumper in favor of this one:

Made by Luverne. It's far stronger (rated for 10,000 lbs towing), significantly cheaper, and--I think--better-looking than a stock replacement. Cost was right around $300.

I agree on the Luverne. I've got a 10" drop style and it has survived getting swiped by a van so far. Took out the hood and fender of the van but sctratched and pushed on side of my bumper in a little bit. They are definitely strong and I think they look great. The finish is also very durable.

Ranch Hands are about the same cost, at least mine was... but may not be available in the N.E.

JP - Love the Cummins strip on your tail gate. Decal or Painted?

I would not replace the stock bumper with another stock one. I have the Ranchhands on my truck and like them a lot.

Ranch Hands were significantly more expensive in this neck of the woods. And I think they're kind of ugly, but that's in the eye of the beholder, I guess.

That's a vinyl decal on the tailgate. I bought it from a seller on eBay who had it listed as a hood stripe, but last I checked he wasn't offering it anymore. I was planning on buying another to have as a replacement, just in case. If I was going to put it on today, I might take an Xacto knife and cut it to turn the C the right way.

I think Ranchhands look pretty good and many people who have seen my truck seem to like them too. I'll upload a picture of the back end later in my members photos.
