I installed a Raptor 150 awhile back and from the beginning I have had to turn the key on and wait for the pump to start pumping. I can not just start the truck. I have to wait until I hear the pump activate. It did not do this before I installed this pump.

Any ideas?

not sure what your asking commenting about. my truck the second you turn the key to the run postion the pump will run for a few seconds and turn off. if i wanted it could go straight to crank and it will fire right up. while i crank the pump will turn back on, after your done cranking the pump will got to 100% duty cycle

 

^^^^^ Exactly. Thats how my truck worked until I put in the Raptor. NOw if I turn the key there is a delay until the pump does its bump or whatever. Normally you should just turn the key and the truck starts. I have to turn the key and wait for the pump to start and then continue turning the key to start it.

I am not making a comment, I am hoping someone has an idea of what is causing this.
