Rambrake / E-brake
Rambrake / E-brake
OK, so I am a newbie to the world of the exhaust brake, and now have a truck outfitted with a RAMBRAKE, which I guess later on was changed to the E-Brake. I went to find information out about it and I learned that to activate it I can't be giving fuel to the engine, but to use it I need to keep the engine around 3100 RPM.
How do I know when it is fully engaged? I can notice an audible difference when I activate it, does that mean that it is engaged and working? Why do I need to rev the engine to 3100 RPM?
