Question on my 12v Project.....
Question on my 12v Project.....
I am wanting to put a 12v into a 2003 F350, but I want to use my o-ringed 24v head, ARP studs and 150hp injectors. I am going to retain the p-pump...just wanting to use a 24v head. I realize I will need to use 24v pistons and cam.
The 12v that I will be using has over 400k on it, so I wanted to "freshen" it up anyway. So putting pistons and a cam would be something I was going to do anway. I talked to somebody at Piers and he told that I could do it, but it would run like crap because of the pressure difference of a 12v and 24v injector. This does not sound right to me. How do people get the p-pump converted 24v to work? This would be no different, am I right?
Thanks
