you should be seeing more than 19 psi of boost with the xzt+ and a boost elbow. That is what you should be seeing for boost with it stock. On my truck with the xzt+ and boost elbow i can easily get over 30psi of boost

I didn't say smoke made more power I said it smoked more. It is also faster in a known distance that was tested many times in the last couple of years plus the G forces in seat are greater when I put my foot to the floor with the EZ. As far as more aggressive tunes, the list of tunes on download list say they are same tunes put on the new modules that are shipping. So my thinking is that I already have the most aggressive tune out there. Plus I've spent three nights Edit with the download tunes and my dial up doesn't load it. I downloaded the step by step instructions and followed them to the letter and only got to the file downloading, let that run for over an hour and it never said it was finished. $1500 dollar two year old laptop maybe I need a chip for it. I think I'll take module to buddy that has high speed internet. The toggle works every setting changes power.
Something is not right. The XZT+ should be head and shoulders better than the EZ. I have run them both on a dyno and on the street and even with the "soft" factory programming it really should not even be close?? Have you tried tech support at all? You might give them a call so they can spend some time helping you figure out what the issue is.

not to steal the thread but my xzt+ with boost elbow screwed almost all the way in only hits 19 wot and didnt raise it at all but it builds boost much faster, why is that?
You definitely have some sort of issue. How much boost will it make in the stock setting? You either have a fuel problem or a broken wastegate? Does the truck run good? Is there a night and day difference in off and PL2?

Yeah, you should be seeing much more. I was seeing 35 lbs easily. Even with just the XZT+ loaded with the aggressive tune; old and new. You have a boost leak, maybe.

Were are you reading your boost from? If you are electrically reading it from the map sensor make sure you are reading it from the engine side of map before it goes thru the xzt+.

Originally when i change over i was set up like that and it would only read 18-19psi.

^with that said, you then will have to tap the XZT wire harness w/the commander map sensor wire instead of the factory wire? I have my map sensor wire soldered right at the plug but when you install the wire harness in between it will move the factory plug wire to read from after the XZT because of the harness. No? thanks.
