Angry Quadzilla XZT+

Well I installed my new XZT+ last night and ran it around home, I live in the Mountains and roads are to curvy to get a good feel for how it would perform. I work in the flats so got to check it out on way home today. The lower gear throttle response seemed good. I got up to a small passing lane area about 1/3 of a mile long, where I pass slow cars a lot and put my foot to the floor, to check acceleration and was really disappointed. From 50mph my edge EZ would throw me back in the seat and be doing almost 80mph with a lot of road left. The XZT picked up speed like a mini van. I don't think I could of got to 70mph using whole passing lane. But the little toggle switch is fun to flip.

that dosent sound right. I have the XZT+ on my truck and it pulls pretty good. There should be a noticible difference in power when you flip the switch

Sounds like your running the factory tune. Go here http://quadzillapower.com/products/xzt_plus_update.html and try some of the other tunes available. You'll probably like XZT+_2000 as a starting point.

I have never heard one person that has ran the EZ say the XZT+ didn't blow it away.

download the aggressive tune and make sure you have the switch flipped to the proper direction and you should realize how much better it is than the EZ

I agree with all the above. I have had the EZ and now the XZT+ and there is no comparison. Something doesn't seem right. Hopefully you'll be back on to tell us about some mistake and how much you love it...

The factory setting had a lot less power than the aggressive setting. . Maybe my EZ is just hot. It smokes more than the aggressive setting on the XZT. I tried to download some other program and couldn't get it to recognize module. Tried downloading from start and it jumped me to the recognize module deal again and couldn't find it. Pretty depressing. I'm going to try again later.

just because the ez smokes more doesnt mean it has more power, thats just unburned fuel that is hurting fuel economy, quad tried to focus more on clean power. try waiting to plug the usb in at the last minute, also if you have vista or a mac you may come in to problems

The production tunes aren't much fun. You will change your mind when you try a Aggressive file.

I didn't say smoke made more power I said it smoked more. It is also faster in a known distance that was tested many times in the last couple of years plus the G forces in seat are greater when I put my foot to the floor with the EZ. As far as more aggressive tunes, the list of tunes on download list say they are same tunes put on the new modules that are shipping. So my thinking is that I already have the most aggressive tune out there. Plus I've spent three nights Edit with the download tunes and my dial up doesn't load it. I downloaded the step by step instructions and followed them to the letter and only got to the file downloading, let that run for over an hour and it never said it was finished. $1500 dollar two year old laptop maybe I need a chip for it. I think I'll take module to buddy that has high speed internet. The toggle works every setting changes power.

If you're using the file that came with the XZT+, you do not have the most aggressive file.

Yup, I agree once you download the aggr. tune you'll be surprised although the older aggr. tune was much more potent. Do not plug in the USB until the last minute. You have the factory tune right now.

WOW. The XZT+ was way better then the EZ. I had an EZ, 2 weeks later, I pulled it and installed a Banks Ottomind and 5 months later and got the XZT+ to beta test. I then retryed the Ez for comparision. The XZT+ was way better
