Quad Adrenaline Beta Testing....
I soldered the resister back on. I used a solder sucker to remove the broken off leg, and then re-soldered both legs so that the resistor now sits on the board. Is this going to be okay without much of a air gap, for heat dissipation?
I took it for a drive, and I now have fueling back! It was to slick out tonight to do much testing, but it will at least hit 55psi, without going full throttle. Spool up is quick again, without out a sign of a miss.
I do still have a surge. It still happens on all levels with PL01 being easier to drive around it. I can actually drive around the surge now, but I have to be careful or it will really get in a surge condition. One thing of note, is I did a power brake and build boost to 15 psi for about 10 seconds. After that the surge was reduced. Possible because of a change in IAT? The best way I can describe the surge, is a chip in surge. If I am cruising with a light throttle, this file won't surge, but if I go to accelerate then the surging starts. If I accelerate hard enough where I can fuel the "wire tap" fuel, the surge stops.
It was 18* out tonight when I was testing, and I am using the file on the web site. I have to wonder how it would work at 50*...
Keep up the good work.

Holley Blue is running strong, never below 10 psi WOT from 0 to 90 with everything set to kill. I honestly don't think a VP-44 can pump more fuel than a Holley Blue with a 1/2" line kit mounted down by the tank.
So does it surge anywhere? I know you said it is ALMOST eliminated which leads me to believe it might still be doing it? If you can tell me where it is I can probably fix it for good.
We are checking some stuff right now on the warm up mode. I think it might have a bug in it which is probably causing some other significant stuff happening.
If I can eliminate the surging for good which it sounds like I have or almost have then I only have to really worry about the TT issue we have with a few trucks and I may have that fixed already! I am ready for a BEER!
The tune I sent out via email to a few people has a pretty rough map in it for timing. I am working on real map that I would really want to run, it is not so off and on. I just did not want to spend hours on it if that was not even the problem! So if I can get that wrapped up tonight we can have it up on the web in the morning.
Also, do you think that latest tune is stronger? I have had several people tell me they believe it is quite a bit more responsive on the bottom.

This tuning file does feel stronger and more responsive than the file currently available on the web site.
I'm doing a lot of my testing on PL02 because it's easier/quicker....and I assume if results are there on #2, the higher levels will fall in line.
Final, all-out testing gets saved for the track, since last yrs 115 mph speeding ticket while testing my new Mach 6's.

. Not trying to be a wise guy... but this doesn't explain why other boxes don't act the same?

Well, most or all the other boxes are waiting for boost. So at light throttle they are not really respomsive. That is the only real problem with waiting for boost is that it is laggy.
The way we are doing this you should have instant throttle repsonse. The downside might be that you need to keep the pedal still!!
