I played with 4K this weekend.
At WOT it's very smooth all the way through the gears and pulls as hard from 3000 rpm to 3800 rpm, as it does from 2000 to 3000!
Not to interested in going to 4000 rpm on a 24 valve....and don't really see any power advantage...based on dyno curves.

It's definately a "Race only" tune for me. Just putting around town on anything other that WOT from PL4 and higher I get shudder.

Quad---I thought I remember reading or hearing about maybe being able to save a few tunes in the adrenaline and be able to switch tunes with the Pulse without having to upload everytime? Is this true? It would be nice to have a "race tune" and a couple 1K or 2k series tunes saved and be able to switch them out without needing to upload every time.

From what I understand... Right now the Pulse does not have a big enough processor for this option. So for the ones that want this option, you'll have to get an RA# from Justin or Quad and send the pulse in for the Upgrade! Got my RA# today and will be sending it in tomorrow!

Ditto. Just got the phone call an hour or two ago. Gotta tidy up some loose ends tonight, but hoping to get mine out tomorrow too.

The popping is us fueling so hard it is bouncing off the limiter.

I am tuning that out right now so there is no confusion on regular tunes. They will stop around 3600rpm and not try to keep fueling.

However, When I went back to ADR2000 tune... my tranny was still acting like the 4K was installed. Would not shift out of 2nd around town at 30 mph, like normal. wanted to go to 3000+, before it would release... into 3rd??

Have heard of this with Bully Dogs Crazy Larry tune. It's electronic pulses or shift memory in the ECM, of some kind.
I disconnected the neg. battery terminals and turned the key on for 2 hrs and it drained the trannys cereberal cortex of all 4K memory.

Obviously I don't know the technical electronic terminology.... but you get the idea.
Alls well now! Any other 47RE's have this happen?

Killed the truck today with the DYNO tune. free revving it it got to 3200 and the tach just fell to 0 when I let off. Had to wait for the FASS to come back online and let it run for 30 seconds, then she fired right up.

Is it dying when you lift or when your at WOT? If it's when you lift, how fast are you lifting? Just my experiance, but I don't just yank my foot off the loud pedal when I make an aggressive pull (mainly to prevent turbo bark), so maybe if you eased out of it that would prevent the stalling. I'd be curoius to see if that helps.
