Question pyro idea

well as my user name would apply i am a big snowmobile freak. well here is my thought. there seems to be big questions as to put a pyro before or after the turbo, my thought was to use a snowmobile gage with two probes/readouts, one for each. the only hitch i can think of is getting a probe long enough to reach in the cab. but they make regular and didgital gages. anyone have any thoughts?

I ran a post and pre turbo on my truck for a while. Only time I noticed a difference worth noting was at WOT. And it was almost a 500* difference.

All EGT probes I know of are made plenty long, and they should not be shortened or lengthened. The length of the wires is predetermined by the gauge manufacturer, the gauge will be inaccurate if the length is altered.

Not true. Pyro wires are routinely lengthened up to 30' for pusher motor homes with only a few degrees of loss. What is important is that thermocouple wire with no splices is used.
