Problem w/my Juice.

I have had my edge juice w/attitude monitor on my truck since about may of this year. Tonight when i started it up it gave me the 5 warnings that you get when you first turn it on before it cannot be returned( I think). Anyhow has anyone else have this happen or know what caused it???????
I also had a thread on here awhile back when it gave me a reallly high rpm, that never happened so i am hoping there is not something wrong with my chip.

you might try checking your ground wire to make sure it has a good connection. i've had them do weird things when they wasnt grounded well.

In a year in a half mine has done it twice. I can not identify a single thing that is common to the two events. The worst part is having to reset everything from the factory defaults to the fueling and alarm settings I want.

I once took it off for a few days to have the front pinon gear looked at by the dealer and when I put it back on it still had everything in memory. So I do not think it is power or ground related.

Ok, I agree the reprograming was kind of a pain for a few minutes. Hopefully it won't do anything else. Thanks for reply's.

If you have any problems contact Edge, typically they will send a replacement out to you as long as you send yours back in 30 days. These chips hate getting water on them, especially from washing under the hood of the truck to clean everything up.

edge juice

how do you like that set up other than the problems you described here? I'm thinking about the juice for my Christmas to myself present.

I've had mine for about 6 months-no problems, easy install and I'm totally happy with it.

I had one for 8 months, I enjoyed it, decided to sell it, get gauges and a Drag Comp.

I don't think that my autocrapper can handle a drag comp so i think ill just cook it with the juice a little slower perhaps.

I've had it for about 4 months now, I love it. I love the on the fly power adjustments and turbo timer the best. I am in the fire dept and can't always take the time to cool the turbo down after getting the the firehouse in a hurry

My auto is getting a built tranny soon, just going to run the Drag on 1 or 2 until I get it done.

I learned my lesson, I fried my old tranny with the Juice w/ Attitude on level 5 tapped. I've already got a set of billet shafts for it just got to contact Phil when I'm ready. But, back to the old tranny, my extended warranty covered the replacement of it so now instead of paying $5000 for a complete rebuilt and upgrade I'm going to have about $3500 or so in it. Can't complain there.
