I have installed a new edge comp chip on my 2001 dodge and it seem that I am getting poor fuel mileage now on the 1 power level. Before the chip I would get around 15 mpg. I have been running the chip on the 1 power level and get 7 mpg. Is there a problem with running a edge chip on a 2001? I'm going to try the other settings to see what mileage I will get.

Driving the truck the same as before the install of the chip.

 

what is your fuel pressure doing? at WOT and idle?

 

My edge j/a is the same way on 1 I got 14 and when I'm on 3 I get around 17 to 18 so I drive mine 3x5 and I think it works better for fuel then 1.

 

look for other issues like fuel pressure, boost leak, bad sensors. i went from 15mpg (4.5" lift and 37" tires) to 17+ with a Comp on 3x3.
