Yea i must say opinions changed quite a bit! I really wish i could do this but it think i will just stick to the crappy ol' electronics.

i know this is a old thred but has anyones opinions changed on this subject? i really want another 12valve but i ahve found a 98.5 with low miles for a decent price. thinking of just getting it and putting a p-pump that i can get.

UPDATE.. all is still great!! NO probs at all with conversion! Over 150,000 on it!

Are you still doing the conversions? I am wanting to go alittle different than most people. I have a VE pump and I am extremly limited, I want to p pump the engine and put piers 24v head on my truck. I will settle for the p pump first.

hello everyone,

planning a p-pump conversion, would anyone have the "Cummins part numbers"
for the Cummins parts in this conversionlike the timing case, cover, throttle, etc...beside things like the fuel lines.

scheid diesel has a conversion kit to go from the vp 44 to a p7100 every thing there ex for the pump its self for $1955.76

Not everything is included, there are quite a few odds and ends that need to be taken care of for a running truck, but it does cover the bulk of it.
