ordered smarty finally

I couldn't take it anymore hearing everyone bragging about their smarty and how good it is,so I called rip today and had him send me one out.He was very informative and pleasant to talk to.The smartys he had all have the new downloads in them already too.
But anyway,Im running a tapped drag comp,6 inch mitres from straight pipe and a bhaf,guages of course along with vulcan 1/2 inch kit.This should test my stock clutch which seems to hold for now at least,and my stock hy (yes it is hardlined)turbo will have trouble burning the fuel I think.Does anyone run the drag comp 5x5and the smarty on 8 here?What can I expect besides mega smoke?Is it like night and day with the stack than with the comp alone?What about running on 9 or will it be too much timing?

My 2000 held the questionable stock clutch with Mach 1.6's and Smarty. IP died and I replaced it with a HRVP and I blew threw the clutch on the first ride on #7. Con OFE is going in tomorrow.

Your truck should have a HX-35 on it, only autos had HY's. I don't have any other fueling box, but I think that you should stick to the even # programs when running with the comp box.

yep I know it should have the hx but the turbo is hardlined,must have been changed.Is there anyway to tell from numbers if it is an hx but with a hardline?

So it has no wastegate actuator? Just a hook with a spring?
The quick check would be what size exhaust housing is on it and the waste gate actuator should be bolted to the compressor housing with a little fitting tapped (boost controllor goes here) into the turbo with a short piece of hose connecting it to the actuator.

Your probably right, the HX probably went south and someone slapped a HY on it.
