Finally did it guys mine was acting very weird on the way home and ended up limping home so I called Stefan at DTT and started talking. Found a local installer and boom on my way. Ordered a TQ,VB,Master kit, Servo,accuator,and billet input shaft. I can't wait. Truck goes in monday when the parts come to have the DTT experience! ;D

Still talking with Don M on where to go I am assuming that with a DTT tranny you get less smoking because its loading the motor more all the time but you know what assuming does. So anyone feel free to chime in. Stefan was telling me that my truck should break the wheels loose between 1 and 2 anyone experience this that would be so sick! As you can see from my ramblings Im extremely stoked! After the DTT Im gonna take a break from mods tour some shows and just take it easy next year probably twins and something bigger in the fuel stick category. I will probably go with a ported head and cam to.

 

my camaro had a done up tranny and would leave a 20ft black strip on a full throttle 1-2 upshift .......it was soooo cool <br><br>have fun

I have to get Don to find me a big brother for the pdr40. By the way Don with those new nozzles your making me work good with that tranny Im getting? I'm pretty sure they will! Is it true that your truck feels like its got about 60 more hp after a DTT tranny?

 

First: Congrats to you for a good move! You will really love this tranny !<br><br>Tires braking loose on the shift 1-2.... yep, they use to do this. ;D if they do not still smoke from standstill.<br>I can't comment on how many hp more it feels like- mine is marvelous!<br><br>AlpineRAM

Well right now my tranny always tells me some stuff about EDMs and a DragComp and a K45 at least... Always says wanna have this wanna have that.... ;D<br><br>But my funds are somewhat limited right now :'(<br><br>AlpineRAM

 

So you are really happy then! Thats great! Anyone know if there is any kind of warranty on them I didn't see anything on the site. Im pretty stoked on it can't wait.
