No, I didn't back off the valve springs. I just put it on the tube that goes from the turbo to the air cleaner. You will notice right away if you have leak. You only need to put like 20psi on it. I also used soapy water to find it.

This may sound dumb, but sometimes the obvious things get overlooked. When did you put your intake in? I just know when I put in my BHAF, and drilled a 4" hole in the cowl, I could hear the loud sucking sound of the turbo sucking air through the filter. Unless it was something else, but there seems to be no problems. Just a thought.

The intake (filter) has been on for 2 years. No, this is a 'new' noise.

Searched this to death after I had a similar scenario. Does it usually start 1500 RPM or so and can't replicate in park with pedal on? Below were the most common things I found. Good luck.
1. Boost leak
2. Exhaust Leak
3. Intake Leak
4. Turbo
5. Valve Issue

You wouldn't believe what a slightly loose bolt or clamp will do.

Well, the leak is in the intake manifold 'plate' under the stock (now removed) fuel filter. Tightening the bolts helped but didn't fix it. Is replacing this gasket as much fun as it looks or is there a trick? Please let there be a trick...

If i remember right i was able to loosen the bolts and remove the throttle body . Then I was able to slide it out it was tight but I got it out and back in. Getting it back in was tricky because the new gasket wanted to move. Mine blew out after I did an injector change. I left one of the bolts loose in the manifold. You don't have to remove the injector lines.

I'm sure I killed mine when I removed the stock filter fuel housing after installing my AirDog. I replaced the bolts but didn't run them down tight enough. Who made the gasket you used?

Yea the throttle body. You know what I mean . The part that has the tps and the cables. You have to remove it to get to the manifold.

Any chance you removed the stock fuel filter canister after you put on your airdog?

I removed the canister when I installed the AirDog two weeks ago. Not long after that is when the noise started, but I didn't think about those two intake bolts being loose. Live and learn...

Mine did the same. I got under there and tightened the heck out of the hose clamp.
Haven't heard the squeal since.
