No Smoke From my Comp Box

I've had my Comp box hooked up for quit a while now, and am happy with the performance. But, my question here is, Why don't I get the smoke I keep hearing about on here? Even set on 5-5 with the pump wire connected I get very little smoke from this truck. With that being said, am I getting the most out of my truck, or in my ignorance am I being content with partial results. I have the boost elbow installed and I max out at about 32# of boost, with stock injectors.

That does sound odd, but be lucky that your not blowing smoke all over the car next to you, Wait, it is better to cover a clean car next to you with smoke, my bad!!

Whats your fuel pressure like? When my injection pump was starting to die the smoke kinda start to drop off till it would hardly smoke at all. I found that with low fuel pressure at the injection pump the power was down and same for the smoke. How much does she smoke at idle? Do you have good throttle response still? When my injection pump died my truck smoked at idle and didn't like to accellerate. My injection pump did this and didn't throw any codes. I kinda straved her for fuel and dodge bought me a new injection pump. The problem is now fixed.

Theres times I do wanna smoke that idiot next to me. It holds 12 - 14 pounds no matter what I do, with this high pressure fuel system. I can't say that I am having other real problems, at this moment with the truck.

No smoke means your turbo is doing it's job!!! Mine runs very good with very little smoke. I'm not wasting any fuel.

I go to school in Bozeman, Montana which is about 4800 ft above sea level. Through the entire winter with temperatures down to -35*F I could smoke at anytime at low RPM, I have a comp box with stock injectors on an H.O. When I travel back to home in St. Paul, Minnesota which is about 900 ft above sea level I could barely smoke it this winter, I am interested in what happens this summer with warm temperatures. This is just what I noticed. Also, my fuel pressure is good.

In the cold weather it's a whole different story when I start this truck up in the morning. It can leave a guy looking for air a 1/4 mile down the road. But, this is all the light colored smoke.
