If the KDP is tabbed I would go with the 3000gsk and or get it timed to 16 degrees next.

get rid of the stock exhaust elbow add the hx-40 style down pipe with a pdr adapter.. that way when you start running more fuel like injectors your egts will stay down. If you dont change it (although for most upgraded turbos you have to change to this style anyway) you end up with a massive amout of restriction because that elbow is only about 2 inches around...the next thing id do after that is add at least a intake manifold.. the injectors, and turbo depend on what you want to do with the truck

97dodgeram2500,

3GSK will ad a lot of fun for not much $.

On my truck I removed the muffler and punched a 3 inch hole through the combs in the cat. That will help free up the exhaust without making the exhaust note much louder, only deeper.

Timing can also be upped without spending a bunch of $.

yea when you convert it to a hx-40 downpipe it gets rid of the stock elbow which means you end up with a full 4inch down pipe not a 2inch into 4inch down pipe
