need clutch suggestions

its time to replace my clutch, pulled it last night and the pilot bushing was siezed to the shaft on the tranny, got it busted loose and no damage to the shaft though. The tranny is going in to get gone through but looking for ideas on a clutch. The place i am taking my tranny to has a high performance Luke gold series. Is that sufficient for my truck, I pull pretty heavy. Thanks for the input.

never had any experience with the luk series clutches, but many on here run them with no problems.

i personally would run a South Bend. check em out at southbendclutch.com or get ahold of Peter here on DTR

ditto on the Southbend clutch. I don't run my truck TOO hard, but with 3.54 gears, 37" tires and over 1000 lbs of torque, EVERY drive is kinda hard on the clutch!
I'm up around 40k miles with my setup and no signs of trouble daily driving or towing 10k trailers

We really like the South Bend Clutch..... For your application I would recommend the MU13-1.25 Con O or OFE.

Southbend is the only high performance clutch I've ever run and wouldn't run anything else. Since you say you tow heavy, I would for sure go with the 13" disk and conversion kit. Go with Southbend and you won't be disapointed.

Just to let you know, I put in a Luk clutch 20,000 miles ago. Guess what, I now get to do it all over again, it's slipping. My Southbend Con OFE is in the mail. Do it right the first time.
