it would make the engine rev higher but that has nothing to do with how the turbo boosts, thats what I have been told at least. maybe someone can suggest a way to get some more boost without the springs, or why not both!!

There is no argument that the gov. springs are the way to go. You'll have a brand new truck to love, guaranteed! Assuming you're running the stock turbo, I would have to guess that your setup is more than enough to put the boost gauge into orbit. Anything over 35-40psi on an hx35 is wasted effort, anyway.

I have the DDP 3/4k kit and I'm very happy with them. Depending on what pump you have and what springs from the kit you use, dictates weather you get 3k or 4k. This way, if the 4k is too touchy for you, you can swap to the 3k w/out dropping more coin on another kit. Pretty neat, I think. Beyond that, any of the reputable vendors will have good quality springs available.

doubt you would get any more boost since a stock fuel plate is defueling you by 2400rpms anyway. however an aftermarket fuel plate, a boost elbow and a 3 or 4 gsk will make it a totally different truck. Do a search for these things, days and days of reading here.

stock wastegate begins to open at a little over 19#s and is fully open at 23 so very little if any more than that. But 100 hp injectors and a boost elbow closed off will push your hx35 far beyond its efficiency range. 35 pounds is about the max you want to see with that turbo
