Miter cut stacks?

I just got a set of 5" miter cut stacks for my 96. I was wondering what you guys do when it rains and snows. Put a hole under the truck?

If you clamp them on they usually dont fit together good enuf to worry about it. The rain will just run out around the joints. You can drill a small hole in a low spot in the pipe under the stacks or under the cab at the lowest spot if you want. It wont welp much with the snow but it will make less sooty spots after it rains and you go out to start your truck

I don't have any hole in my pipes, but I've never had a problem with water. After one day of HARD rain it did sound like the exhaust was muffled but it cleared as soon as I got on the road. I do think that if you clamp it, as 98 12v said, most of the water will run out.

I did see a pic of a guy that threw big cans shaped like kegs with the Budweiser logo on them over his stacks. Dont remember if it was on here or not. Looked cool tho!!

I believe that was buckshotmcgee? They were pretty sweet covers. If you drive your truck everyday, I wouldn't make a big deal about the rain. It'll blow it out real quick.
