Lowering my ram

Lowering my ram

I know, I know....

Guys if I have to have a 2wd I need to drop it a tad. I looking at 2" in the front and 3" in the back. Anybody have experience here? I

i dearched the rear spings and cut 1 full coil off the front. i had to cut the bump stops in half. i plan to bag it when i get my shop done.

How is the ride quality now? By cuttiing a full coil out, how much drop did you get? Could you also clarify how you dropped the rear?

1/2 ton coil springs will lower it, and make it a softer ride.
and take out a rear leaf on each side.

Thats what we did with our 2001, jsut we put some spacer on the front and rear, to keep the height of the truck, but it hasnt the load capacity and rides like a half ton! NICE!

it rides pretty stiff,but not terrible, i have some pics in my gallery.
