Re:Line-X vs. Rhino

Have had bullhide and now Linex bullhide was better IMO because it wasn't as hard as the line X I find the lineX is so hard stuff slides around in the back where the bullhide it would stick in place. Example I had a battery in the back of my 99 and had bullhide drove around for a week not tied in never moved. Had same thing in my 02 with the linex first stop light it slid forward and took out one of my compressors so I approve of the bullhide for that reason. Also carbide will damage any of the liners despite what the manufacturers tell you.

Re:Line-X vs. Rhino

yea, the Line-X is a harder and rougher (to the knees) surface, and that makes things slide, not stick, to the bed. I found that to be an advantage for loading heavy appliances, moving furnature, and stuff, and I don't kneel on that surface at all. The surface texture is more uniform, a bit more sandy in appearance, and imho nicer looking. the local Line-x dealer here has a junk truck bed with both products on it -- out in the sun for the past 2-3 years. The rhino has faded and the linex has not.

I solve the knee problem by putting in a bedrug(tm) -- over the top of the Line-x, installed with velcro so its removable. so now I can haul suitcases and pillows when I want, or rocks and bricks if I want.

Re:Line-X vs. Rhino

What is a Bullhide liner? Is this another name brand, or a copycat of Rhino?
