kdp

so i am wondering would your kdp let your engine leak oil cause i am leaking oil but not relly sure where from.

Yes, if the dowel pin cracked your timing case or cover you could have a fairly large oil leak (which could be the least of your worries) - get the KDP fixed ASAP.

im not sure if that is it i am leaking oil on the drivers side im not really sure where at tho. kinda by my injection pump or somthing

These trucks develope lots of oil leaks with age. Not always much to worry about...assuming its just a gasket weep or something similar.

no its not fuel cause it is black.. o well thanks for the help ill try to find the leak.

most common gasket failures on that area of the engine are front main front cover or vacuum pump gasket... if the kdp got thrown into the gear case then you would see the hole (it makes a hole big enough to put 2 fingers in) if you think its cracked there put some jut lube or ether on it dry it up clean it off to see to be safe id pull the front cover just to be sure and replace gaskets as you go...

it prob drips about the size of a half dollar not big tho... thanks for info about the gaskets ill make sure and replace them.
