Are there any write ups or pics on how to properly gut a intake tube and air box?? don't really have the money for a cold air intake and want some more sound from the turbo. Are there any issues with snow getting in? We get alot of snow here in Maine and dont want to be clogging the filter with snow. And yes the silencer ring is removed already

 

There's nothing to gut in the intake tube in an 2001-it is a smooth tube...Some people "swisscheese" the bottom of the filter box and claim that you hear it more. Given the location of new holes in the bottom you shouldn't draw in snow unless you smash into a snowbank.
