installing gauges ???'s
ive never drilled and tapped anything but my father is good with this stuff so ill get him to help me if i do that.
i would run the tubing in some small wire loom anyway to protect and hide it, i also already have a probe installed pre-turbo that i will be taking out and replacing with the new one so hopefully its a screw in replacement for the new probe.
if i go with the plug adaptors...where would i look for such adaptors...and what type thread is it...i understand i need to go from 3/4" down to 1/8" but are there different thread types?
i really appreciate the input, i just wanna be able to make this a painless one day install if possible. first i need to custom make my own pod for the larger gauges...which is on hold because i have no truck now...its at the dealer getting a new vp-44

Get blown,
I went to Home Depot and bought a 3/4 pipe plug with the square "drive" lug on the end of it. The plugs with the "hex" drive that extends out beyond the threads will NOT work. There is no clearance. The plug was three bucks. I Drilled and tapped it myself-took about 10 minutes, then installed the 1/8" NPT to 1/8" Compression fitting into the brass 3/4" NPT to 1/8" adapter I made. Put it in the head and attached the hose. I think the whole thing took me 1/2 hour.

Works great, and looks even better!!
---Sorry a reread your post-the square drive needs to be raised-use a 12point socket to get it into the head. If you use the recessed plug I don't think you will be able to "seat" the 1/8" adapter.
