I thought mine ran good with DD2's, but when I got my puck installed, it really packs a punch. I see alot more smoke too.

Thumbs up Big difference in mine

I bought a slightly used EZ from the Smurfs and it makes a big difference in my 99. Papa Smurf put mine on while we were at the dragstrip in NC and I went straight out onto the track. I have lowered my best ET by between .5 to .75 of a sec. It was hard to tell that day since I had a problem with leaving the line without roasting the tires. It was also the first time I've ever heard the rear tires chirp when the auto hit second.
I have also found out that I need to be careful about nailing the throttle to the floor at speeds under 55 in OD because I can hear/feel the tranny wanting to slip. As long as I ease into it and make sure the rpms are up, there isn't a problem.
With the boost elbow, I can see 32-34psi at WOT. You can definitely feel the increase in torque! Now I have to start saving for some tranny upgrades.

Thumbs up big difference in mine too

I put the EZ on first, a couple of days later the RV275's. Both times I came home with the grin on my face.

I put an ez an my ho 6speed and it alone would smokein all gears at low boost below 10psi and with dd2's now it smokes whenever the trottle is down. I did notice a considerable difference with just the ez.

Made a long haul this weekend. I noticed my mileage was better, and I know the EZ is working. I smoke very little. It only smokes taking off in first and second. I really notice the difference in the top end.

the only thing I am concerned about is a whine that comes from my turbo at boosts above 24 PSI. what could that be?

The faster you turbo spins the louder it is and some big injectors get you boost up to about 38 on that turbo and it really starts to make some noise.

Palmetto_kid,
I just got on the computer since the last time that I talked to you. You were starting to scare me. I know that ez box was working good when it was taken off. If you have any problems let me know. Could the noise you hear above 24 psi of boost be the small bleed hole in the boost elbow. That may be it. Well let me know how everything is working.

I think he is just hearing the turbo wind up. I could not hear mine, even with the ScottyII until I installed the EZ. A lot of times for economy I drive by it, trying to keep it below turbo wail. Works too, gives me another mpg when empty and weighing 14,650 gross.

Could that be the case?
