i need turbo help.... big single or twins

its time for a new turbo.. which is the best bang for the buck.."so to say" right now the truck has dd125 injectors, drag comp, smarty, 5" ex., water meth.. and a full billet Dtt trans this coming weekend.. which turbo should i go with HTB2, ps66, hx40, 50, 55, or should i make my own twins set up with my stock turbo and if so what all would i need.. its mainly a DD with very light towing open car hauler and a 3000lb car.

what do you guys think?

Sledpuller 66 won't spool up to quick but you can get insane amounts of power, HX40 would be nice and spool up quick...You should look into making your HX35 into a hybrid and running an HT3B on bottom. This would be a SICK street setup for twins (as far as I know).

I would make a set of twins. You can find large semi turbos like the Htb3 or the S300 for 400-500 dollars. You could then modifie your stock turbo to make it work well and it would be a very good setup. It would also probably about the same price or cheaper than a large single.

The best bang for the buck would be a good single.... The twins are nice but cost more (unless you fab them yourself) and they can be a pain to get to seal completely. A good single will make virtually the same HP as twins what you give up is the faster spoolup of a good set of twins and increased egt control.

Give us a call if we can help answer any questions.
