Big single vs. twins

I already have an ht3b centersection I just rebuilt, but I have never looked into just a bigger single, how do they compair in performance, price, difficulty on installation, and other engine parts that would have to be upgraded.

And also how big would I have to go to cool off the fuel I've got?

I think one of the Phate Shaft turbos would do well...either the 62 or 64. http://www.industrialinjection.com/
Singles are much easier to install & set up and about 1/2 the cost of twins.
Twins are, by far, the coolest running (EGT"S) and fastest spooling way to provide air to your set up.

Your money... your call.

if you tow a lot and want to use the power, go w/ twins...

if you run empty and want ease of installation, go w/ a big single...

I'm going to be running an II SPS66... it's NOT cheap... in fact, I could buy an HT3B and a Tial 38mm wastegate and build my own twins for less!!!

but... I don't have any time these days... I don't tow anything... and the 66 should actually make a hair more power...

if this was 3-4yrs ago, I'd say TWINS all the way, but they're really starting to figure out these single turbos, and from everything I've read, this 66 will spool BETTER than the HX40 I had on my old truck!!! 3rd gen guys report that the 66 spools about like stock w/ their boxes turned off. SIGN ME UP!!! wait... I'm already signed up
