I feel dumb asking but oh well!!!!!!!

I was looking at the list of free mods for a 12v and noticed that I could pinch the a line or get and elbow to get more boost. Right? I pinched the line coming from the afc housing and lost power so obvoiusly thats not the one. Could someone post up a picture of which line to pinch or where the elbow go's (for when I buy the elbow). Thanks Ken

You can pinch it but you won't get more boost. More boost only comes from more fuel.

To a point yes..a set amount of fuel will make a set amount of boost, but
if you pinch off the wastegate actuator, the wastegate will stay closed and make more boost....because the gate cant open,,,,but more boost without more fuel does not make more power...unless you are already overfueling, and want to clean up the smoke.

You just found out how to make a poor mans valet switch with the pinching of the afc line! Congrats.

haha.. a poor man's valet switch.

Yes, you can pintch or plug the wastegate line, but you really shouldn't take the stock turbo over 35 psi or maybe 30 psi. I use an adjustable boost controller that I made and I now set the boost at 30 psi. There's a picture of my controller in my pictures and it goes on the same line you would pinch. The controller uses a ball bearing and a spring on the inside. You should be able to find construction plans on the net, or you can just buy one for pretty cheap on ebbbaayyyy

Oh I see that you have a #100 plate full forward. Then yes you will make more boost. But if you were stock, blocking the wastegate would make absolutely no difference in boost.

I think I found the line. Its the one directly under the intake boot a couple of inches facing the front of the truck. Right? Also what should I expect from doing this (seat of the pants, will I notice anything?).

With my #10 plate, I've hit 35 psi. Didn't hold it there for long. You gain the power on the top end and clear up the black smoke. It's not a huge difference like adding another fuel plate but instead of lagging when the wastegate opens, it keeps pulling.
