Without extra fuel, you won't gain any power by upping the boost. It also wouldn't help the turbo spool up faster either. Don't know how they are claiming that one.

Oh i don't know if they are claiming faster spool up or more power without adding fuel.
Just wondering if it is possible.

As stated above..boost doesn't make power in diesels...fuel does. In EFI gassers, the 'puter adds gas if you add air.


Higher boost may help your EGT's drop a bit, but you'll need fuel from somewhere for any appreciable power gain.

It does seem a likely candidate to replace a boost elbow IMHO. Many gassers use fish tank valves as "bleeders" to lessen the signal to the wastegate. This method is known to have spikes that can detrimental (detonation, blown headgaskets, blown IC boots, etc.).

What they said. It's an adjustable wastegate controller. If you want quicker spool up you need more fuel at low boost. You need to loosen up your star wheel setting, that will get the extra fuel to com on sooner and help with spool up.
