In the hunt for new fueling box.........
Well im still borrowing the torque dog from a friend so when i have to give it back that means i wont have anything but the injectors
So, im wondering what box i should get. Comp, Drag Comp, TST Comp, Adrenaline, Xzilleraider 120hp????? I like the prices im seeing for used Comps (275-350) I have 150hp injectors and i know a wire tap box will be too much right now so i'll have to run it turned down. im just preparing for the turbo upgrade in the future.

the trucks dont run well at all without a fuel box and injectors, you will need a boost fooler or a box.
what i did when i had my adr sent to quadzilla to fix/update, i bought a resistor (couple of cents) plugged out the map sensor and put the resistor on the map sensor connector, and like that i got all the power the injectors give,
The truck wont defuel once it sees the additional boost the injectors make...
i think its 66.1 K Ohms
Stick one end into the 5V connector and the other end to the signal
like that the pcm sees 2V all the time (around 20 psi boost) smokes more down low and gets more power on the top end

well what ive got on there now is just about like an EZ, and its great but theres a lil more power to be had with the stock turbo. plus it will open things up for when i finally do get a bigger turbo. i agree with u guys about the reliability of the comp

As soon as you start adding more fuel, anything will get hot. I ran my injectors and Adrenaline on my stock turbo before getting the BD. You will see a spike in temps when you are laying on the happy pedal, but for most everyday driving there wont be a problem. You can also just turn the setting down if this is a problem. With my stock HY I would see 1650 or more EGT. I can still get there with the BD for short bursts.

I've ran both the Edge Comp and the competition version of the TST and I prefer the TST but it needs to be stacked with an EZ or XZT+ for timing in order to have the best spoolup and driveability. I have much better driveability with the TST/EZ than I did with the Edge Comp.
