I just put a 4 inch exhaust on my truck how much horse do you think I gained. It has a straight through muffler and its mandrel bent. The rest of the truck is stock.

 

You probably wont notice anything gained from the exhaust other than lower EGT's and better sound...IMO.

 

pinch off the waste gate hose it will responed better.

 

H.P will not increase that much but it will responed faster than with the stock exhaust

 

if you put the manufacturers of the exhausts sticker on your rear window it should gain you about 50hp...lol. there will be no hp gain but better spool and lower egts . a intake will gain you some hp though. i noticed a huge difference when i put the afe on.

 

I noticed faster rev gain with an exhaust and intake system. Can't say it made a noticeable difference in hp on my truck.

Buy a used xzt+ or edge ez for $120 bucks and pinch the wastegate. You will feel a noticeable hp difference from that cheap mod.

 

I noticed no hp gain from just the exhaust. Some say your turbo will spool slower going with a bigger downpipe.
