Howes Additive Question
Howes Additive Question
Have a question on the Howes Additive Products. Does Howes Meaner Power Cleaner have the same Anti-Gel properties as Howes Diesel Treat? Wanted to use Meaner Power Cleaner in the winter, but wanted to verify if it would prevent gelling when the temps plunge. Thanks!
Re:Howes Additive Question
I don't believe it has anti-gel properties either, or Howes would advertise as such.

Re:Howes Additive Question
Yeah, that makes sense that if Meaner Power Cleaner could provide anti-gel, Howes would certainly want to draw attention to that fact. Never thought about using both additives together in the winter, but that should work just fine.
Have used Howes Diesel Treat or Meaner Power Cleaner every tankful since new. I have no basis of comparision as to whether the additives make a difference, but truck runs/starts great and just calculated 23.2 MPG last interstate trip so it's definitely not hurting (8000 miles so far).
Appreciate the feedback.
