How much timing??
I think on the smaller pumps (180, 160) you can run a little more timing than normal, I would say 18* with a set of headstuds would be ok. I popped mine with whats in my sig but as soon as I get done at the sledpull this weekend I'm tearing the head off...
i would like to know the same thing. I dont know what the stock timing is on the 180 pumps though. With what I have done on my 97 in my sig, I was giong to play safe and go to 14* at most, not 16 or 18*. can someone tell me if this would work ok?

on my 97 14* was stock. 18 should be just fine, I ran for an entire pulling season @ 22* with studs and stock head gasket. wasnt until i was planning to tear it down so figured what the heck bumped the timing to 28* and blew the headgasket at about 50psi of boost. Just curious

with just a dv upgrade stay with 16* when you go with different injectors then you should go higher on the timing depending on the sticks.
