how to move the plate??

how to move the fuel plate??

I have a 2000 24v auto i don't know if i can do it on mine but if i can how do i do it and what do i gain by doing it. Is it hard to do were do i have to look to find it

im in the 12v family ( properly valved i might add ) lol. im pretty sure the 24v trucks is all comp controlled with one of those fancy little plug in boxes.

You do not have a fuel plate on your truck.
The fuel plates can only be found on the P pumps (1994 - early 1998) 12 valve trucks.
You have the computer controled VP44 pump.
To get more fuel through your pump, you need to look into getting some kind of after market fueling box (Such as Edge EZ as an example).
Before going to this solution, you may want to invest in a good set of gauges to keep an eye on your eghaust temps.

To answer your question, the fuel plate is located on the top of the P style pumps and requres the removal of the AFC (Advanced Fuel Control) housing.
This plate determines the quantity of fuel to deliver based on your right foot.
