Homemade posi-lok? (can't find the thread)

I vaguely remember a thread where someone basically made a posi-lok using something like a lawnmower throttle cable?

My vacuum switch on the t-case died this morning after testing 4wd yesterday, and that's the final straw.. the actuator has always been slow (has a sticky spot in its travel), and though the vacuum is great, I've never liked it much. (I've got a bootyfab fix right now linking the vacuum supply right into the red 'release" line on the actuator)

So... Who has made one? The more detail the better!

Thanks...

I made my own posi-lok,my pin was bent. I took apart the vacuum (split it in two)on the axle then take all the clips off and got a bolt, filed my own groves where the c clips go.I didn't get to put a cable on yet so i locker it in the on (4WD) for now. I'll try to get pic of it.
