posi-lok perma-lok

Does any one know the difference between the two,(posi-lok/perma-lok) 4x4posi-lok.com One has a manual pull cable and the other is shaft that replaces the acutuator shaft from the OEM. The latter is about a hundred bucks cheaper. I only use 4wd in muddy fields or occasionally on snowy roads. So the cheaper sounds better but was woundering if anyone has any experiance with either of the two?

Thanks,
Brooks
