Hole in firewall is MIA!
I have my gauges all ready to go, but cannot find a hole in the firewall? Anybody know where I can find an existing hole?
I am using the "Rod Pod" center-of-the-dash setup, so I need to route near / into that area -

I ran mine threw a big hole above and left of the steering colum. theres a big rubber flap there covering it. and i drilled a hole on the passenger side to run power cables for my amps and such. Not to shure if there is any holes in the middle.

Above and left as in the left side of the vehicle....aka the driver's side. The hole he's talking about is where the clutch pedal rod would come through the firewall if your truck was a stick.

Take off the fuse panel cover, you can route the fuel hose down over top (above) the fuses. I went out the above mentioed spot. Made a few slices with a razor, done deal.

Are you referring to the fuse panel cover exposed when you open the drivers door? That would work fine - for A-pillar mounts, I'm going to the center of the dash (Rod's Pod mounting)

On an auto use the rubber plug where the clutch rod would be on a stick.
I just cut a slit in it with knife and push the wires/tubing though.
I push the small tubing used for boost, and if you are using the same for FP, though some 1/4" tubing. It will then be able to take very sharp bends without kinking and will be protected from cuts and abrasion.

- thx for the info, everyone, I did go with the plug where the clutch rod would go;
Now.....I thought I had the boost-bolt location all figured out, but the pic I located looks like nothing on my engine! Does someone have a pic of which bolt to pull out and replace with the boost bolt?

I've never used a boost bolt but you only have two choices. Of the four bolts that hold down the air horn there are only two lengths, the side closest to the driver's side a the two furthest. All are the same thread and extend into the area where boost pressure is present.
