You wouldnt happen to have a red 1st gen would you? I saw a red one with stacks in front on the tint place on hwy 84 one day in Brownwood...nice truck. If you are building twins for a 1st gen, check out my gallery...may give you some ideas on possible designs.

If you're ready to step up , you had better walk very slowly if you don't know how to fab the twins. It ain't that easy and certain things will not be best for their operation. It's more than just sticking 2 turbos together. The wrong help won't do you any good, either. I've seen a 45 hp loss on two different setups.

step up and tuning??

If you go with a set of turbos that is commen and often used, how could it not yield the same as the next guys?? The tuning - what do you tune - is their 1 or 2 blow off valves and then a wastegate or ???

Sorry just trying to make more sense of it. Don't get me wrong I know it would be hard - heck pictures is all I have ever seen of twins, but they look fairly easy to make if you can fabricate??

Thanks alot and not trying to hijack just trying to add - constructively!!

1. What has been done internally to the housings

2. How long is the exhaust housings connector pipe

3. Wastegates are a good concern. Where are they set?

4. What brand are they. They all spool differently.

5. This is just 4 things , there are many.

C, y'all

i'm keeping my hx35 (for now) and the other is a Holset HT3B, i havn't decided on what blow off valves and or external wastegates im going to use, but for now i just want to run about 40-50lbs of boost and then move up from there, after i get machine work done on the head and block of course, so are there any suggestions on wastegates or blowoff valves? i ordered all the pipe today to start fabbing up the twins (should be in on tuesday) ill keep y'all updated, and all suggestions are welcome

Thanks

You won't go wrong with the HX35 and 3B. Nothing spools like a 35 and the 3B will move some air. That combo, you'll like.
