Goerend single disc converter

Is anyone out there running a goerend single disc converterand goerend VB? I am thinking of going this route even though Dave suggested that I go with a triple disc. My only Mod is an edge comp box and the most I will ever jack the hp to is 100hp overstock at most. Will a single disc TC and VB hold good enough while towing a 4000lb load in hills at 60mph and 1600rpms? Anyone running this setup out there right now?Tell me whatcha think!!

I don't run a single disc, but a triple disc converter, but I think that if Dave recommends a triple disc, you would be wise to listen to his advice. I know I chose a triple disc even though he thought a single disc would be sufficient for my application. He doesn't recommend anything you don't need. Just my opinion.

I'm putting this tc and vb in a stock tranny and I didn't know if a triple tc would be overkill and if the stock trannys internal parts would be put under more stress with a triple as opposed to a single. Something has to give somewhere so it doesn't break right? Will I just tear my stock tranny up with the holding power of a triple disc? Please help!!

You shouldn't tear it up any faster. Dave knows his stuff, if he says you need it and that it wouldn't break anything do it. I'd have no doubt about listening and doing what he says is best for the truck.
