Getting rust off chrome

I've heard of using that or tobasco sauce to polish up penny's but never chrome. Hmm. I'll have to give it a try. Thanks yall.

Get the finest steel wool you can find, usually 0000. You don't need a lubricant to use on chrome but you could use WD-40. The steel wool is fine enough to cut thru all the crud on your chrome and not harm the surface. Don't use it on aluminum or painted surfaces, it will take the top surface off unless you want a brushed aluminum look.

I have used coke and a brass brush, worked great but a pain to clean up. find some "Noxon", works great on chrome/brass/aluminum/stainless. It`s one of those "have to have`s" lying around the house.
