Getting rust off exhaust
I installed the Silverline a couple weeks ago and today I decided to take off the 5" tip because I think I like the look of the straight 4" pipe better. However, when I got the tip off the section that was in the tip has some rust-looking spots on it. I'm guessing it came from the water trapped between the pipes and rusting out the tip a bit.
I tried to get it off with an SOS type pad from the kitchen because that's all I had. No luck. Any ideas on how to get it off?

Get some sand paper and clean it up. Or even a hand sander.
And apply some of this.
