Gauges, etc.
Gauges, etc.
Just got my 02 CTD 4x4. I am a newbee. After reading several posts, I
am convinced I need gauges, thus am looking in this area first.
I see many alternatives, but also see that I can get an EDGE JUICE
with Attitude for about $250 more than the gauges. From what I can
tell, this will replace all the gauges I was planning to install, with
a few extra thrown in, as well as boosting the performance with
selectable settings.
Any of you guys care to comment about this setup as compared to the
conventional gauges? How about the A2?
Thanks in advance,

One thing to consider is if you ever decide to go with a different tuner/chip. You might decide that you want a Smarty/TST stack later down the road, and you no longer have gauges. Or if the unit goes on the fritz, no reliable readings then. I'm not sure on the display of the Attitude, but I personally like an analog style gauge instead of digital. One quick glance and you know where you're at. With digital, you'll have to actually look at the numbers. I'd go with conventional gauges. If you do get the Juice, you can use the monitor to keep an eye on other functions not covered by your gauges.
