Re:Gauges

White faced gauges look better in my opinion. Depends on what you like.

Re:Gauges

I would plan for $50 to $100 for little crappy parts along with the big crappy parts you need. Fuel line, bolts, tie downs, split loom, thermocouples, blah, blah, blah.............

Might as well budget for that stuff and do it right, that way you don't have your gauge stuff falling apart and breaking 2 months into it.

Re:Gauges

Check with our advertised vendors for pricing.

They support this site, we need to support them.

Re:Gauges

That's a good idea. I've gotten some stuff from the vendors in here! D'oh, strangely enough the stuff right in front of us, slips our minds when we go looking for stocking stuffers.

Re:Gauges

C-dude, Thanks, I thought the price was a wee bit on the low side. I e-mailed Rod at wildcat diesel to set me up. Just waiting to hear from him. Appreciate your help--Magnum

Your welcome but let me know what Rod says. I forgot too! I have no problem ordering from them, besides they know whats best and what I need. I just hope they are good on prices. Maybe I'll give them a call too. It's probably the easiest. Does anyone have his email? I would prefer to email him since it is the most convenient for me because of classes and all. How long does he take to reply also?

Good Call Shovelhead!

rod@wildcatdiesel.com
He usually responds within a day.
I found it's always good to just give him a call.
Much faster info transfer than sending e-mails back and forth.

Re:Gauges

Guage color? I think blace faces look best on trucks thru 2002 and white looks best on the 2003 and later model trucks.

I am in the process of adding Di-Pricol guages: 30 PSI Fuel, 35 PSI Boost and 1500 degree EGT.

Re:Gauges

Hey Steve is that your pillar and guages? If so do ya think you could just hold it up in your truck and take a pic so I can see what they look like with the stock gauges? If you can get those and your stock gauges in one pic that would be great. Thanks.
