Re:Gauges

Hey, I need proof that it doesn't take much to get more than 30psi of boost. Can anyone help me? Gotta prove it to my bro.

Does it take a lot or a little bombing to get higher than 30 psi? Cause the guages I'm looking at only go up to 30 psi

I thought I read a reference to it on this site a while back but I've done a search and can't find it back.

I think the reference you're speaking of was to a member with a 3 gauge pod and only two gauges.
When asked about the third hole, someone responded "Use it for a drink holder"
It would be a little messy as it would hold your drink horizontally.

Re:Gauges

"Hey Steve is that your pillar and guages? If so do ya think you could just hold it up in your truck and take a pic so I can see what they look like with the stock gauges? If you can get those and your stock gauges in one pic that would be great. Thanks. "

Yes they are my guages. I'll try to get a picture tonight. I tried a few minutes ago and the sun is so bright from the snow that everything on the interior looks black. I think the black faced Di-Pricol guages match the 1995 to 2002 guages nicely. The new fuel isolator is available now too.

"Hey, while you're at it, I want a bikini model showing it off too!!! Pretty please!!! "

I think I can get my wife to wear a bikini and hold the gauges. I'm sure you'll understand the need for her to wear long johns and coveralls on top of the bikini though! It's winter here in Wyoming!

Re:Gauges

Hey Dude,

Thanks again for the oil pressure sensor info.

Here are a couple of pics of my gauges. It's not real dark outside, but I think you can tell lights-off and loghts-on.

Since I have a 5-spd, I just went with pyro and boost.

I'll have to send two posts.

Later,
CR

Crobtex-
Are these the EV's? What # bulb do you have in your EGT? Mine does not light up that bright. I also have the isspro, but not EV's.

Re:Gauges

Marine,

Yes, they are EV's. They're hooked up to the dash light fuse and will dim with the instrument panel.

Re:Gauges

Here is a shot of my Di-Pricol guages stuck in the truck to compare the colors of the face and needles. I did not take the illuminated one as requested because they aren't installed yet.

10HAAP,

I like the background of your picture. I'll bet my Paint stallion don't grow the winter hair like your ponies do.

Re:Gauges

CR,

I suspect you are right. They live outside. I've never heard of Texas temperatures gettin' 40 below.

Re:Gauges

wow....big thread.....

Guys if you are going with Isspro guages.....DO NOT buy anything but the EV series....they are the newest guages and the older styles are very hard to see, especially at night.

The Di-Procols are really nice, Ive heard that they are a bit pricier and that they can be hard to get (on backorder).
