Smile gauge pods over rear view

does anyone know where you can get a gauge pod for over the rear view mirror I have seen them but I am not sure of who makes them and if they are available for dodges?

Reasoning is I would like to keep only 2 gauges on the pillar for line of sight issues.

So, do you have 3 guages in all?
(Keeping two on the pillar and on overhead?)

I have not seen a single guage pod over the rear-view mirror. Now, thats not saying they do not exist. However, you can get 2, 3, and 4 here on DTR (or other places).

Hey Jason

If I'm not mistaken, they don't specifically make an overhead for our 2nd Gen's. You just use a 3rd Gen because they just slip over the headliner anyways.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong. The overheads are basically a slip fit between the headliner and the roof aren't they?

I've been kicking around the idea of an overhead myself and just usung the Scotty Dodge Pod as a switch center for lights and such.

From what i understand , they slip in over the headliner , and use some special fancydancy (my word of the day) tape to hold it to the windshield.

OH pod

Got mine from DPP, they use a special PLASTIC "Velcro-type" tape system
for the lower part, just slip-fit on top.......ISSUES:
1. on my '01 I had to mount new mirror button (on new windshield) after
bustin my old one trying to remove it.
2. you will get constant glare from rear window right at eye-level. Dark tint
may help, that's my next move.

These pods are made by GageWorks.

I've been runnin a triple overhead pod since June of this year. Only trouble I've had is the adhesive on the velcro that comes with it to mount to the windshield loosens up in the heat of the sun.
I had to use heavy duty 3M stuff.

Looks like you need one more Gauge to complete that Fighter Jet Cocpit. LOL

Nice!

Homestead,

You're correct they are listed for 2003+ but we sell them everyday here at DPPI for the 1998.5-2002's as well, they fit perfectly. They are available as a 2,3 or 4 gauge design and are totally out of the way but very easily seen while driving and not taking your eyes off the road. Give us a call if you have any questions we'll be glad to help.

Does anyone know where to purchase the single gauge pillar pod that's already in the correct grey taupe color for a 2003 that retains the handle? I can't seem to confirm this, but one of my local Dodge mechanics said that it was a genuine Mopar part and that the accessory catalog for 2003 contained matching gauges. The parts department did find a nice-looking matching pyrometer kit, complete with the Mopar label on the gauge for $140, in the accessory catalog, and the part number is good. If I want it, it's sitting in Atlanta waiting for me.
