gauge pod built into ashtray mold

Could anyone tell me where to get one of these? I saw one on here a while back but haven't been able to find it again. TIA.

you could buy a single pod and use that or make a mold off of one of a friends pillar pod.

It's not something you can buy (not yet anyway....). The guy took a steering column pod and cut off the gauge part. Then he epoxied it to the ashtray and painted the whole thing so you couldn't see the seam. I think it's cool as hell, but I have my trailer brake controller in my ashtray and with the ashtray open, you can't see the gauge.

you can buy a chrome or black single gauge pod at advanced auto for about 5 bucks and trim it up to fit, so that it wedges right in, just did this. The only gauge I have is boost, and being able to hide it really keeps the sleeper look! Looks awesome!!
p.s. (very easy to do)

forgot to mention...Snow water meth 3D kit has a pyro readout. As for fuel pressure had it checked and then installed a FASS. Sorry guys a pillar full of gauges just dosnt do it for me...don't wanna look like everyone else out there. might eventually do a full gauge set including some toggles for nitrous...when and if however that will be in the glovebox for racing only...my trucks reliable enough that i don't feel the need for gauges on the pillar that I will never look at especially because 99% of the time I drive at quarter throttle because I hate smoke!
All just MHO, to each his own

I think he's referring to the guy that put the pod on the bottom outside of the ashtray, not inside.

That would be my work...it goes pretty quick if you've got a pod to cannibalize. I'll answer any questions, but the pics are pretty self explanatory of the build.

Also, I don't use my ashtray for much, but with a little extra work you could run the lines between the tray and the outer gray plastic for a little cleaner install. The best part of this mod is that if you screw up, you can get a new ashtray for like $15 on ebay!
