Gage pods???

Does anybody have any experience with gage pods that mount on top of the instrument panel, as opposed to on the a-pillar.

I'm looking for comments on the two mounts in Geno's catalog...Gauge Works has one that mounts almost against the windshield; Torq-Line has one that mounts more toward the rear lip of the ip.

Beyond price, any opinions pro or con??

Thanks!!

-hanko

I found another one but don't like it as much as what Geno's carries...
http://www.performancecenter.com/pro...;sf5=DASH+PODS

thanks

-hanko

Re:Gage pods???

I dunno whether these wouldn't obstruct the windshield defroster. I like the idea on Rods Pod because you can mount switches on them too. ( I mean they are accessible while driving)
I read the instructions on the pod but don't have one.

AlpineRAM

Re:Gage pods???

There's always this option.
A little more labor intensive, but you can put as many as you want, where you want..

One guage yes, A set ??? if you could find them, they'd be too small to read.

Re:Gage pods???

Here is a shot of my pyro. Easy to install and easy to hide the wires. It does not increase the size of that wide pillar. There is plenty of room here for two without looking weird.

Rod's pod looks good if you want more than one or two.

Bob
