Re:fuel gage fix

Apparently the sending unit is prone to failure. I've read many posts regarding improper readings. Mine has been replaced once and now mine reads full at fill up and 1/4 full 80 miles later. I now measure fuel duration with my odometer. Many months ago I found a site where a permanent fix to the sending unit was presented. If I can find it again I'll post it.
